Birthday Parties

I used to feel a lot pressure to do huge, elaborate, birthday parties.  It stressed me OUT. I dreaded them. I struggled to make them feel special. It felt like I was doing it for everyone else rather than my kiddo.

So one year I threw it out.  I decided it did not matter at all.

Now we do only family, very personalized birthday celebrations. I do excel at making that extraordinary.  I love tiny details that make them feel special and seen but that don’t necessarily translate to a big party.

Now that my kids are older, I ask them what they want and they choose this over a big party.   Then we have a play date with friends and ice cream.

When I trust myself to do motherhood my way it’s so magical for everyone.

Including me.

Trust yourself to know what works best for you and your family. Follow the path of that trust.

If you struggle to trust yourself or to even hear your own voice above all the noise, click here to work with me. This is one of my biggest areas of growth and stress relief. I can help.
