It’s natural to feel impatient through hard transitions. Our brains just want it to be over and done with.

But impatience takes us out of the present moment without actually speeding up the process. In fact, it probably is prolonging it.

The reason it takes as long as it takes is because we’re being prepared for a result we couldn’t receive if we got it sooner.

Going through a divorce is hard. Let it be hard and stay present with it.
